A New Look

I've made a big mistake. I know it and I can't pretend I don't. It's one of those things where once you've done it, you can't take it back but you wish you could. It's an instance where it started off as just a little thing, but has soon snowballed and taken on a life of its own. It's something I can't hide, because soon my husband will notice, then my kids, then my friends...

I started twittering.

Twitter isn't my downfall. The snowball that started the avalanche is what has me so worried.

I clicked on a link.

If you're on the net, you know what that means. You click on a little button, or underlined catchprase because it looked interesting or pretty and suddenly you're in a whole new world. The best way I can make sense of it is to figure out how the tragic set of events all fit together.

First came Lainey, then came Twitter, then came a new network of Tweetin' friends, then came the link. The link was a random shout-out to a young man's blog Artism By Nick. He is 21 and he has autism and he is a very talented artist.

I bought some of his stuff and if you're lucky, I'll be sending you one. Back to my chain of events. Then came the email to Nick's mom, who in turn wrote me back, then I wrote to thank Nick's aunt who tweeted the website out there in the first place. Then came linking up to her blog. Then I got the blogging itch again. Then I clicked on another link from someone else's blog that introduced me to blogging networks. Then I clicked on too many links to count which led me into the lives of some pretty amazing blogging mamas all over the world.

Then I started leaving comments. Then I started noticing how beautiful their blogs were and I set out on a search to make mine more pleasing to my eye. Check out Simply Fabulous Blogger Templates

Now here we are. New look. (Whaddya think? Feel free to add a comment).

New attitude about blogging.

New obsession.

New distraction.

And when my husband catches on.. newly single mom?
