A day in the life of our family of five on a journey through the world of Autism times two. The ups, the downs, the funnies and the stress.
Beautiful Stacey! Just perfect!
Very eloquent. I think he must have been proud indeed listening up above.
Very well said....as always!!Dana
I think you did him proud, and I'm quite sure he smiled when he heard that. :)
Wow Stacey, so beautifully written and right from the heart. I feel badly for anyone who grows up without their mother although he certainly spent his life spreading around happiness and cheer! What a wonderful tribute! I bet wherever he is, he is very pleased and proud of you!
You did good. I'm sure he's touched.
Big Jim was a legend! One of a kind.
You're a gifted writer. Well-done :)
Hi,I hope you are doing well. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. The eulogy you wrote was a wonderful tribute.I'm sorry to leave this as a comment, but I've been trying to email you and my email keeps getting bounced back. The reason I am bothering you is I was hoping you could help me. I am helping to lauch a new group blog called Life2Us. It will be written by moms for moms. One of the categories that we would really like to include is one for moms of children that have special needs.I wanted to ask for your help on 2 levels. One is on the actual name of the category. So far we have categories that all end in Mom like "MultiCultural Mom", "Domestic Mom", etc. We haven't some up with a category name for a mom with a child that has special needs. So far we are using "Determined Mom", but I was wondering if you could suggest something you thought was appropriate.I also wanted to ask if you would contribute a post to that category. It could be a post that you have already written and if you wanted to contribute more than one post that would be cool too. In exchange for the post contribution we would put your button up under our featured blogs for a month. This is the blog url: http://life2.us/Take a look at the blog and please let me know if you are interested. If you are, you can actually submit a post directly on the blog at the very top of the page there is a tab that says, "submit a post".I love your blog and would love for you to contribute to this community blog, but I totally understand if you are not game. I would also appreciate any guidance you could give on the category name.
Wonderful tribute, you have a way with the words, girl. I wanted to wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving with your fam.God Bless Ya'll!!!
I'm so glad I checked in and found this post; your grandpa sounds like he was a wonderful man. I'm sorry you lost him, but it's clear that he's left quite a legacy.I do hope he wasn't really playing the fiddle while driving the bus, though, haha!
