How Many Signs & Hugs & Kisses

Here's the current tally on how many signs the boys are using independently and appropriately (yaaaaayyyy!!!!!!!!!)

Owen: more
music
open
eat/drink (Owen does the same sign for both by putting a flat hand against his mouth)

Will: more
eat/drink
help

Jake: I would guess that he knows at least 30 signs and he shows so much patience as he tries to teach them to the boys. He's a great teacher.

It sure beats screaming and crying when they want something. The therapists have been working on quite a few signs and we are at home as well. Hopefully soon we'll have some more to brag about.

We are also VERY happy to report that Owen and Will are both waving goodbye, they are both hugging Jake (often) and Owen has just started giving kisses!!! It melts Mom's heart. 3 1/2 years is a long time to wait for a kiss. If Jake could write, I'm sure he would type it himself because he's so pleased.. but Owen has been giving Jake kisses too. It's very clear that O is now looking up to Jake with trust and love as his big brother. Our family is finally starting to feel more complete. :)
